As part of a week-long artist residency at Cardboard City, a free pop-up art gallery and community workshop that advocates for the creative reuse of cardboard, an exploration of the mid-century breezeblock was conducted to celebrate one of the most iconic architectural features of Los Angeles.

M/PAL Studio also designed an exploratory cardboard puzzle for participants to generate their own architecture-inspired patterns.
