We're proud to partner with the City of Los Angeles Community Investment Department (CID) to provide architectural design and construction support services for 22 small businesses across three San Fernando Valley commercial corridors: Canoga Park, Pacoima, and Reseda.
The JEDI Zones Façade Improvement Program helps eligible small businesses fund exterior upgrades that revitalize commercial corridors, improve curb appeal, and reduce blight. Each participating business can receive up to $75,000 for improvements such as painting, murals, signage, lighting, landscaping, windows, and doors.
We worked closely with business owners and community partners, starting with on-site assessments to identify façade needs, building deficiencies, and code-related issues. From there, we developed individualized designs that reflect each business's identity, goals, and aspirations, as well as the character of the surrounding neighborhood.
The result: improvements that enhance visibility, safety, accessibility, and economic vitality, while bringing more color, character, and pride to these important corridors.
