Art Deco Palm
Shade Structure Prototype

The proposed park shade structure prototype draws inspiration from the natural and architectural beauty of Los Angeles, merging the iconic silhouette of its palm trees with the geometric elegance of Art Deco architecture. The structure’s form incorporates overlapping, stylized "palm fronds" that offer dappled shade, creating a dynamic interplay of light, color, and shadow that shifts with the sun's movement. This design aims to offer an inviting, artful respite for visitors, evoking a sense of place while fostering connection and relaxation beneath its canopy.
