M/PAL / Mandy Palasik Studio / is a Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary design practice curating experiences at the intersection of art, architecture, and community.
Built on the belief that design is not a linear process, the work manifests in various scales and formations ranging from custom homes to public art installations. Each project is approached as a collaborative narrative that is continuously evolving, as with our practice. We seek to create spaces that celebrate the art of everyday living, inspire excitement in the mundane, and evoke beauty in simplicity.
Founded by architect and artist Mandy Palasik, M/PAL combines technical expertise with creative vision. Mandy has over a decade of international experience on a diverse portfolio of award-winning architecture projects including housing, historic renovations, adaptive re-use, educational, and cultural facilities. She has taught at Temple University, served as a guest juror on national design awards, and is a contributing writer to Artblog.org. She received a Master of Architecture in Housing and Urbanism from the Architectural Association and a Bachelor of Architecture from Kennesaw State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has previously worked in the offices of Marmol Radziner, Kieran Timberlake, SITIO Architecture + Urbanism, and GWWO Architects.
